Making a difference in our local homeless community.

Hello, my name is Alexia Fleites and I am the founder of Once a Month Miami. I am a third-year undergraduate honors pre-med student studying at Florida International University. My love for gynecology along with women’s health is what prompted me to create this organization. The mission of Once A Month Miami is to provide homeless women with menstrual products like tampons and pads. Lack of access to sanitary products for homeless women is a devastating yet overlooked healthcare injustice that needs to be rectified. I’m so excited to be a part of closing the healthcare gap in my local homeless community.
